What This Is

As most of you know, I have been publishing my own work under the name Sofia Yorke, not just as an author, but also a creative imprint. 

Sofia Yorke was never meant to be just a name, it’s a creative space built on emotional truth, artistic defiance, and quiet strength. Every book released under this imprint is a deliberate act of expression: unpolished but intentional, bold but deeply personal.

This isn’t about fitting in.
It’s about writing what resonates, publishing what lingers, and creating what matters.

Now, it's time to built upon that imprint and slowly expand it into something more.

Introducing The Literary Lounge

The Literary Lounge is a curated branch of the Sofia Yorke imprint.

What started as a small Discord server for serious writers is quietly becoming something more, a  gentle revolution in publishing.

The Literary Lounge is the heart of our future press: a curated, collaborative space where honest voices are amplified and art is made with care.

We’re beginning with themed zines, limited-run, handcrafted collections of poetry, short stories, and hybrid forms from within our community. Each piece will be chosen not for perfection, but for presence. For emotional weight. For the kind of voice that stays with you long after the page ends.

What We Aim To Publish

We are interested in work that is:

• Lyrical, unpolished (not unedited), and emotionally present

• Rooted in truth, not just following trends

• Resonant more than perfect

• Fiction or poetry that lingers long after it’s read

We'll publish:

• Poetry

• Short Stories

• Hybrid forms (prose poems, narrative fragments, artwork, visual/text hybrids etc.)

The Literary Lounge Press is a future project, set to launch in 2026. We're currently in the quiet-building phase; crafting themes, curating voices, and preparing for our first zine release.

As of now, we’re not open for public submissions just yet, but the first zine will be built from within the Discord community. If you’re writing with depth and honesty, you may be invited to join our first issue.
