SHIPPING INFORMATION

Physical products ship from the Netherlands with PostNL.

Digital products (e-books and downloads) are available worldwide and immediately after payment.

 

1. [MINIMUM ORDER VALUE]

Due to platform limitations, a minimum order amount of €10,-. This minimum applies to the entire webshop and does not include shipping fees.

 

2. [INCORRECT AND/OR INCOMPLETE ADRESSES]

Orders are shipped to the address provided by the customer. Sofia Yorke is not responsible for delays or lost packages caused by incorrect or incomplete address details.
Because my products are limited and often micro‐batches or one-of-a-kind, reshipping or replacing an order is not possible. If a parcel is returned due to an address error, the buyer will need to place a new order.

 

3. [SHIPPING METHODS]

All orders are dispatched within 3 business days. Once your parcel has shipped, you’ll receive an email with your Track & Trace link so you can follow its journey. During peak seasons (e.g., December), processing times may be slightly longer.

 

  • Uninsured Shipping

Includes Track & Trace.

No financial compensation if the parcel is lost, delayed, or damaged.

By choosing this option, you accept full responsibility once the shipment has been handed over to PostNL.

 

  • Insured Shipping

Includes Track & Trace and insurance.

For Dutch orders, this is sent aangetekend (registered). For international orders, parcels are sent as insured packages via PostNL.

If a parcel is lost or damaged, we will reimburse up to the insured amount after a claim has been approved. Please note that investigations by PostNL can take several weeks.


For orders over €50, insured shipping is strongly recommended.

      Customers located in any other country may contact me to enquire about a possible order. Orders outside of the scope of this list are handled on a case-by-case basis and are not available through automated checkout.

     

    *Delivery times are estimates. Delays may occur due to customs processing, weather conditions, postal strikes, or other events outside our control. Sofia Yorke is not responsible for delays caused by these external factors.

    5. [CUSTOMS, DUTIES & IMPORT FEES]

    For orders shipped outside the Netherlands, any customs duties, import taxes, or handling fees charged by the destination country are the responsibility of the buyer. These costs are not included in the product price or shipping fee.

    Sofia Yorke is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing.

     

    6. [SHIPPING COSTS]

    Shipping costs are based on destination, weight, and chosen method (uninsured or insured).

    The exact amount for your order is shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.

     

    7. [PACKAGING]

    Eco-conscious packaging is used where possible, including recycled tissue paper and reused filler materials.

    All items ship in one package, with exception of the inclusion of the Yorke boxes in your order due to weight limitations.
